While a conventional grill cooks meat over a longer period at around 750°F, the Steak Master produces temperatures around 1500°F. This intense heat seals the surface of the meat to lock in moisture, preventing it from drying out like it would with conventional BBQs or pan frying. With a height adjustable design, two trays, and a grill rack, you have plenty of space to make multiple steaks, as well as fish, grilled veggies, and desserts for a delicious restaurant experience at home.

Would this be perfect for sous vide meat?

Steak Master is the perfect finishing touch to meat cooked sous vide.

Is there a temperature gauge display or hear sensor control ?

There is not a temperature gauge. Use an internal meat thermometer to measure the temperature of the meat. A quick cook guide is included to help get you started in cooking with Steak Master.

How much could you cook at one time ?

The Steak Master can cook one rib eye or NY Strip steaks or two 8 oz. filets at a time.

Do you usually flip the steak to cook both sides?

The Steak Master cooks one side of the steak at a time. 2-3 minutes on each side and then rest the meat for 10 minutes or so before serving.

Can you leave it outside when not in use like a regular grill?

Steak Master is designed to be used outside and can be left outside.

Is there an option for converting this to natural gas?

At this time Steak Master only works using propane gas.
