Product Description

Aptly-named, the Maiden Voyage is the first watch ever designed by Straits Foundry. The goal was to create a dependable, well-made watch that was comfortable, but refined enough to wear at the office, or around town. It features a white ceramic dial with a cutout to view the escapement beneath. It's powered by the Miyota 82S5 Japanese-made automatic movement that features hour and minute hands on the primary axis and a sweeping second hand to the lower right. The movement is self winding with a 40+ hour power reserve, and the rotor can be seen through the exhibition caseback.

Final fit and assembly is completed by hand, with extraordinary care and attention to detail. Each watch comes individually numbered, with the serial number engraved into the caseback. The watch is dressed in a black leather strap to keep things formal, while a nylon strap is also provided for when you feel the need to switch things up.
