It’s round two from our friends at Stray Dog Classics, and this one is a dose of unfiltered retro sunshine. You’re about to lock down a shiny 1976 Mercedes 450SL V8 Drop Top Convertible in a super rare, super sweet yellow that gives off hard core joy vibes. With all new leather interior, hard and soft top, and a silky smooth ride, we’re pretty sure you can’t resist this dose of vitamin D on wheels, so don’t even try. Drop that top and let’s go!
This car was owned and cared for by a collector who knew its worth. It was stored in dry storage in his collection until he passed, at which time he left it to his mechanic/friend who lovingly serviced it. With 77,000 miles on the odometer, it is rust-free and in beautiful original condition. The hidden soft top is pristine, but it also comes with a hard top and stand if you should want to switch it up. The original interior is meticulously maintained with the exception of the addition of all new leather upholstery. The car has been inspected and serviced by a German car specialist. All original manual and documents are included. This car was someone's pride and joy and now it can be yours.
Please note that there are a few minor dinks as would be expected with an all original driver from 1976. AC needs to be recharged. There is a hairline crack in the dashboard just to the right of the right middle air vent which is very common in these cars. The paint over the rear right tail light appears to be touched up from a dealer logo plate being removed and there is a minor slight depression in the rear chrome bumper that you can notice at certain angles - it's approx. 2" long. This car is priced with those items in mind, but Stray Dog wanted to maintain as much of the original as possible, saying "She is just so cool as she sits". This sweet ride was someone's pride and joy. Now it can be yours.
