Product Description

The Supernova Pro is a finely-engineered, high precision gyroscope consisting of a rapidly spinning rotor encased in a solid outer sphere. The faster the inner rotor spins, the more resistance it generates. Powered solely by your wrist and forearm, the Supernova Pro helps drive enriched blood flow and strengthen the entire kinetic chain of the arm from fingertip to shoulder. The built-in LCD speedmeter at the top of the ball helps capture the rotor speed to show your progress.

Spin Supernova fast for 60 seconds, and you'll build rapid grip, wrist, and forearm strength with up to 35 lb of focused isometric resistance—helping bring significant benefit to sports such as golf, tennis, baseball, climbing, cycling and martial arts.

Spin slowly and Supernova's gentle, non-impact resistance at low speeds drives oxygen enriched blood flow throughout the arm to gently rehab upper limb conditions, strengthen bones, and improve muscle endurance and strength in the hands and fingers. This can even lead to greater play dexterity and precision for instruments like guitar, piano, and drums.

FAQ
Is it silent?

Supernova, when used at moderate spins speeds (such as when using it to rehab or build endurance in the muscles) is quiet to a point where it won't interfere with, say, watching of TV by a spouse, etc. It's not whisper-quiet but nor is it overly intrusive.

Is there a way to change out battery if the LCD dies?

Yes indeed, you simply remove the LCD display from the ball (it's clipped into the ball's shell at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and pops off with a gentle lift with your finger nail or flat blade of a screw driver); then you remove the 6 little screws and lift the circuit board away from the LCD casing and you'll see two GP377 batteries in there that you can buy at your local office equipment or hardware store.

How long is it suppose to run once the cord is pulled correctly?

It will run indefinitely so long as you continue turning your wrist - it's all done by you. Once you get in sync with the spinning rotor it will literally spin forever (as long as you keep turning your wrist).
