Journey back in time with Szanto to the “Golden Age of Travel” — a time when craftsmen took pride in the quality of their workmanship, and a time when travel, whether by ocean liner, steam train or motor car was perceived as an adventure. Steamer trunks covered with stickers from exotic destinations like London, Cairo, Prague, Paris, Singapore, and Shanghai were common and iconic. In keeping with this tradition, each Szanto watch comes packed in its own mini travel trunk.
While the packaging is simply perfect, there's more to the Szanto 1203 than the trimmings. Inside you'll find a Japanese quartz movement with 2 eye chronograph movement, a hardened mineral crystal, and a Nuback-backed canvas strap with the signature Szanto buckle. Those and more will come together on the wrist to show you why Szanto is time rediscovered.

About the Designer
Szanto Design is a collaboration between Szanto founder, Barry Cohen and several well known Swiss & Asian watch designers. Barry has a 24 year background (with Luminox Watch) and is enjoying the challenge of developing watches with a vintage feel and “cool” factor. He primarily works in collaboration with an esteemed Swiss designer whose resume of iconic designs speak for itself but among them are the original Swiss Army watches, 2 of the top Tag Heuers of all time in the 2000 series and the Formula 1, as well as many other well received Swiss designs.
