The TAPP 2 Click is the world’s first faucet-mounted water filter with biodegradable refills. It even uses Bluetooth technology to update you on the status of your filter with a free iOS or Android app, so you can easily buy refill cartridges when you need them, or even sign up for an automatic refill subscription.
It saves space, money, and plastic, by giving you safe and tasty water right from the tap with no need for bottled water. It removes undesired taste and odor, as well as removing over 80 different potential contaminants - including heavy metals chlorine, THMs and microplastics - down to 2 microns.
The TAPP 2 device is made of recyclable ABS plastic, and the refill cartridges use biodegradable materials, meaning they can be disposed of with other organic waste like compost.

The carbon block technology used in TAPP 2 is highly effective at water treatment. It is one of the best known treatments for organic chemicals, VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine and its by-products. It is also an unchallenged taste-and-odor improver and provides very high quality particulate filtration (including microplastics), down 2-microns.
The filter removes over 80+ possible contaminants, including the following main categories:

About the Designer
This year we will consume more than 250 billion single-use plastic bottles worldwide - and less than 20% will be recycled. Most of the plastic ends up in landfills where it breaks down over time into micro plastics that ends up in the groundwater, rivers and eventually the oceans, polluting all living organisms. Which says nothing of the resources and expense to produce and transport the plastics, and the hazards of drinking from plastics than can leach chemicals into your body.
What if there was a better way? Starting in 2014 the founders of TAPP Water - Magnus from Sweden and Alex from Germany - tested over 50 filters on the market today and found that none of them were especially great in terms of simplicity, cost, and function. Finally, they spoke to some of the world's most renowned water scientists to understand how to create a solution.
