FAQ
How many years is this supposed to last?

The glow virtually never wears out, as long as it is charged by light it
will discharge (glow).

Does the glow pellet contain Tritium?

There is no tritium in this product. It is a phosphorescent material that requires charging by light in order to glow.

How long should it be exposed to the light so it can last 8-12 hours of glowing?

It depends upon the light source, but if you get a couple of hours of sunlight that should be enough. Indirect room light will take longer. But keep in mind that the glow will diminish over the 8-12 hours regardless of the initial light charging time. Also be aware that if you are in a completely dark room, the glow will be visible. In a room with ambient light, the glow will not be obvious.

Can it be recharged by shining a flashlight on it?

Yes, you can charge the glow pellet with a flashlight but the strength and duration of glow will depend upon the brightness of the flashlight and how long you expose the glow pellet to the light. Since the glow pellet charges best with UV light, a broad spectrum flashlight will work but will take longer to charge than sunlight. Alternatively, a CFL bulb is another good source of light to charge the glow pellet.
