A few years ago, poet, sculptor, graphic designer and product designer Andrej Urem asked himself how he would make the perfect candle - and make candles that looked like no other candles out there. And the AU collection was born.

This array of soy wax candles are livable art pieces, molded in structural, architectural silhouettes that are designed to stay beautiful as they melt, and use space, shadow and dimension to make them look as though they are lit from within. The flame burns a cylinder inside the core, to leave the sides of the candle intact, transparent, and illuminated.
