About the Designer

Thomas Althaus is a furniture designer and interior architect who was born In Dusseldorf. He has received several important design awards in Germany and internationally. He designs for Bacher, Danca, DeSede, Metaform and Auping, amongst others. His philosophy is “to deliver a design that is not limited to just one country, but which can be used at an international level too; a strong design that can serve the market for many years."
