Rated 93 points and designated a "Cellar Selection" by Wine Enthusiast, the De Sousa Cuvee 3A Grand Cru Champagne is made with grapes from the French villages of Aÿ, Avize, and Ambonnay. It's a blend of 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that is deeply aromatic and beautifully ripe, with flavors of tropical fruits that mix with the concentrated minerality.

James Suckling of Wine Enthusiast said: “This has a very bold, deep and assertive nose that has a wealth of creamed spices, nougat and pithy lemon aromas, plus lemon blossom and grapefruit too. The palate has assertive weighty presence, and the finesse of chardonnay is underscored by the deep, long and majestic pinot noir fruits.”

It was also rated 92 points by Antonio Galloni’s Vinous, who said: “light, bright yellow-gold. Potent orchard fruit, red berry and jasmine scents show very good clarity and pick up a smoky nuance with air. Chewy and tightly focused on the palate, offering ripe pear and blood orange flavors and a jolt of chalky minerality. Rich yet lively and precise, finishing with strong thrust and suave, lingering florality.”
