Andy Warhol 32 Campbell's Soup Can Skateboard Art Set + Storage Soup Can

Created in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, The Skateroom presents the Andy Warhol 32 Campbell's Soup Can Skateboard Art Set: a series of 32 full size maple wood skateboard decks featuring all 32 soup can varieties. This limited edition of 100 is presented in a large Campbell Soup storage can, along with everything you need to hang your boards up.

Not only will this remarkable display add an iconic Pop Art aesthetic to your space, The Skateroom will donate a portion of the proceeds to Skateistan, an international award-winning NGO based in Berlin, Germany.

Skateistan was created in 2009 when its founder, Oliver Percovich, traveled to Afghanistan with three skateboards. Noticing an obvious lack of opportunities within a disfavored Afghan youth, Percovich began using skateboarding as a means to engage them and build a spirit of community. Skateistan built its first skate school a few months later, using skateboarding and education as a catalyst to drive positive social change. Skateistan currently runs skate schools in Afghanistan, Cambodia, South Africa, and benefits the lives of over 2500 children – 51% of these children are girls.

Through their collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, The Skateroom has produced open and limited editions that have allowed them to donate $83,000 in support of Skateistan. The contribution financed the skate school’s construction and funds a year of the Outreach and Youth Leadership programs in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Skateroom challenges the status quo of brand and corporate responsibility, and turns consumers into active contributors in socially engaged projects. As a young certified B Corporation, The Skateroom unites art buyers, artists, galleries, museums, foundations, retailers, and non-profits around the world in a new economic model— Art for Social Impact. Their “5:25” business model is simple: they unleash human creativity and the fruits of artistic labor to donate 5% of the turnover or 25% of the profit from every sale, whichever number is greater. With the community’s support, they have raised over $700,000 to fund 34 social skate projects dedicated to empowering at-risk youth around the world. By placing works of art on responsibly made skateboards, The Skateroom connects people to the reality that Art for Social Impact is something achievable right now.
