How far is the range you can be from your phone where headphones still work?

The range can be at least 20 meters without obstacle.

How good are they to block out back ground noise?

They have physical noise cancellation function, and they have a good sound insulation effect due to the ear tips.

Do these light up as shown in 1st photo?

Please kindly note that the eyes of earbuds will not light up when using, only when powering on and searching for Bluetooth signal.

Do the eyes glow when they are connected? How do they show connection?

When power on, the eyes will blink blue, then after connecting with Bluetooth devices, the eyes will be dark. Also, you will hear "pairing" if they are connected.

How do you know if it is done charging?

When you put the earbuds into the charging case, you will hear "charging", and the eyes will turn to red. After fully charged, the eyes will turn off.

Can people hear what I am playing when I am at full volume?

Please kindly note that we don't suggest to use the earbuds at a high volume, it's not good for your hearing. And when you play the music at full volume, people can hear a little sound.
