Lumina is a new series of paintings by Tobias Tovera, whose practice delves into the realm of process in relationship to natural systems of growth, differentiation, and self-organization. Inspired by bioluminescence and primordial life, the new collection of paintings aim to spark connection with nature and through process and alchemy, create a visual form that liberates both an intimate as well as an unknown aspect of the cosmos.
This special collection of his work is comprised of 100% original, one-of-a-kind pieces, created by infusing pigment onto birch wood panels and finished with a clear, protective lacquer. Each piece also comes signed and dated by the artist, and includes a certificate of authenticity.
