Artist Tom Havlasek was born in Brno, Czech Republic, where he grew up spending his weekends watching races at the well-known Brno Circuit. This early love for motorsport has become the primary inspiration for his work as an artist. A majority of his pieces begin as photographs, which he digitally edits and then recreates with paint on canvas. His lifelike portraits take on a bold new aesthetic with unexpected spray paint-like splashes, drops, and blurs throughout— effectively drawing a connection between the abstract and the concrete; the rough, gritty world of circuit racing coupled with the sleek, pristine look of these high performance vehicles.

This limited edition paper print comes from a series of just 99 prints, each presented on high quality Modigliani Candido paper and hand signed by the artist.
