If you are referring to a license plate, yes you do in most states. Most states will recognize the 2x2 as a moped or scooter for street use. This means that you only need a drivers license to operate. The 2x2 comes with an MCO which you would take to our local DMV for titling and registration is applicable. Always recommended checking your states DMV website.
