The original Ugo Vasare workshop began in 1986 with a select group of craftsmen in Padua, Italy. After visiting a tiny shoe workshop, Vasare's founder Ugo Chu set out to make his own, Goodyear-welted handmade shoes with immense style. Years later, Ugo's son joined the company, bringing with him a background in engineering and a passion for performance gear. The result: handmade, Italian Goodyear welted shoes with the latest in comfort technology.
