Altaneve creates all natural, sustainably produced wines in line with traditional Italian wine-making techniques. Each vintage is exclusively produced in the foothills of the Dolomite Mountains on the Italy-Austria border based on over 10 generations of experience producing superior wines. The name “Altaneve” even translates to “high snow” in honor of the snow-capped peaks seen from the tops of Altaneve’s hilly vineyards. The uniquely temperate microclimate lends unparalleled character to the grapes that make Altaneve wine remarkable.

Altaneve Rosé is an exclusive blend of Pinot Nero and Glera grapes which showcases each varietal’s best qualities—maintaining the fantastic minerality and body of the pinot nero with the addition of a small amount of the Glera to round the flavor profile and soften the sharp acidity. The result is a clean, bright and approachable sparkling wine with a lovely blush color. The flavor is both delicate and intense, with a lively bouquet of red berries and floral notes. The maturation of the wine combined with the extended secondary fermentation develop a crisp body, a delicate perlage, and an elegant finesse.

The exotic character of Altaneve Rosé can be enjoyed with an array of different foods from fish to cheese to spicy tomato sauces, or by itself as an aperitivo.
