The Tourmaline Medium Pro is durable, soft and flexible, meant to wrap around your entire back. You can even sit or lie down on it. In just 30 minutes a day, you can increase your blood flow, reduce tension, and help alleviate pain and improve flexibility.

Unlike conventional heating pads that use electric heating coils that just heat up the surface of your skin, these unique pads use Far Infrared Therapy to penetrate 200-300 times deeper into your body. It works because only 44% of the full spectrum of sunlight is in the visible range. The high–frequency ultraviolet rays are what cause sunburn and other skin damage, but the low-frequency infrared rays - the kind used in Far Infrared Therapy - are not harmful. Instead, infrared light transmits more heat than ordinary light to provide you with some of the benefits of sunshine, without direct exposure to the sun. Tourmaline is the name used for several different minerals that come in rich and varied colors.
