Can I use this device with an Oral B electric toothbrush?

We have tested our products with the Oral B Pro 6000 smart series, 7000 smart series, Genius 8000 and Genius X. Although the fit feels a little tight, it has no issues sterilizing the toothbrushes.

Does it work for Sonicare brush heads?

Yes, the UVNIA toothbrush sterilizers will work with Sonicare brush heads.

Can more then one person’s tooth brush use it?

Although we recommend one user per case, it can be used with multiple users and toothbrushes.

Does it depend on how many times you use it for how long it lasts?

The battery life on a full charge will last about 3 weeks, based on a twice a day use. The sterilization process takes about 3 minutes and the UV light will turn off automatically once the sterilization process is finished. The UV LED itself has a lifetime of 20,000 hours.

What brands & sizes of tooth brush does this fit? Does it fit electric toothbrushes?

We have designed the product to fit most toothbrush heads. Although we are not able to test all the toothbrush heads we are confident that it will fit most of the toothbrush heads out in the market. We found that the Oral B toothbrush stem fits a little tight, but it is able to fit. Other electric toothbrush heads such as Sonicare fit without any issues.

Can you store the toothbrush in it for travel? Will the light shut off?

UVINIA toothbrush sterilizers' unique design is perfect for travel. The UV light will turn off automatically after 3 minutes of sterilization. The battery will last about 3 weeks with one full charge on a twice a day use.

What happens after lifespan 20,000 hours is done and have been used?

The 20,000 lifetime hours is the estimated lifetime for the UV LED. The sterilizing process takes 3 minutes. If used twice a day, the UV LED should last 9 years. Just like any lightbulb, the LED will no longer emit light after the 20,000 lifetime hours.

Will it work with a Triple Bristle head?

Unfortunately, we have not tested this product with a triple bristle head. Sterilizing should not be an issue, but the base might be too thick. We found that the Oral B toothbrush base is the thickest base our toothbrush sterilizers will hold.
