The Verdon Estate Winery is owned and operated today by the second generation of the Bartlett Family. Their winery specializes in the creation of expressive wines with unforgettable concentration and genuine expression of luxury. In addition to a state-of-the-art winemaking facility and partnerships with Napa Valley's most renowned farmers, they believe a great wine starts in the vineyards.

2017 brought winemaker Michael Trotta a year to remember, with unmistakable quality at its absolute peak. The grapes come from two properties— one neighbors Dominus Estate where the average age of the vines is 34 years, and the other, Morisoli vineyard, resides in the heart of the Rutherford appellation neighboring Scarecrow Vineyard and was AVA’s most awarded site in Napa Valley history. The grapes were picked on October 2nd, one week in advance of the Napa Valley fires. The results are just about perfect.

This Verdon Estate Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon unfurls in the glass, revealing dark plum and black truffle scents that are infused with warm summer berries. The most appealing aspects are perfectly balanced acidity, utterly refined tannins, and silken texture, all in a sense of harmony.
