The Rolex Datejust was introduced in 1945 which was also the 40th birthday of the company. The Datejust was one of the first watches to feature a date function at 3 o'clock and a cyclops in the crystal above it. To this day it continues to be one of the best selling Rolex watches. The Thunderbird is a Datejust which features the "Turn-o-graph" bezel, with its signature, bi-directional 60 minute markers.
Appraised at $10,900.
This watch has been refinished and may not be accepted at some Rolex service centers.
