Founded in 1988, Visconti’s mission is to proudly reintroduce the art of fine watchmaking to Florence, Italy. The result is a collection of timepieces that are very Italian in design, utilizing the finest Swiss made automatic movements. All watches are assembled at the Visconti factory, a 15th century Medici villa situated just outside Florence. This is only the beginning and Visconti will continue to produce increasingly interesting designs and timepieces.

Does it come with metal bracelets? Is gold metal an option? Do leather straps hold up in water?

This watch comes only with the Nabuk leather strap that is water repellent but it is not recommended for diving or anything like that. There is no steel bracelet available.
