The Homo Sapiens Steel Ballpoint Pen is made from material as ancient as the world around us, the first pen ever to be forged from volcanic lava. The lava is taken from the Etna Volcano in Sicily, Italy. All trims are made from marine steel. Lava has some incredible qualities making it the perfect material for writing instruments: Virtually unbreakable, Flame-proof, since the pen is resistance to heat over 100°C , it's also slightly hygroscopic — the pen absorbs hand sweat during use and dense to the touch which makes the pen comfortable to grip and relaxing to write with.
