Product Description
Black on black coloring gives this modern watch a crisp, clean look. The V01LED (LED is short for Light Emitting Diod) uses an LED display that remains unlit until you press the time/date display button. With the LED display being the predecessor of LCDs, it gives the watch a nice retro feel.
The LEDs work perfectly with the VOID design concept since they enhance the contrast of the metal case and the blacked out crystal.

About the Designer
Born in Sweden in 1977, David Ericsson has always been fascinated with the process of creating products, from idea to delivery to the end user. After graduating as an engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, he started to work for one of Sweden’s largest industrial design firms, where he gradually shifted his attention towards design. With a technical background, his design approach is often to keep things as simple as possible, but with a unique twist.
