The Explorer is inspired by Rolex’s decades of experience in the Himalayas, and pays tribute to the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953 by an expedition equipped with Rolex Oyster Perpetual chronometers. It was first launched that very year as the ultimate expedition and mountaineering watch.

This lithographic print comes from a limited edition of 500 and is pressed in Long Island City, New York on 100 lb FSC certified archival cover stock using the best Van Sons Elite soy based inks.
