Will they fit over prescription glasses?

Unfortunately, it does not look there is enough space to fit around prescription glasses.

Why do these have straps?

These are a riding or skydiving goggles.

Are these for everyday use?

No, they would be best for skydiving or riding.

Would these work well for skiing? Do they lay flat/flush to the face with little air flow?

They do lay flat/flush but we don’t consider them a ski goggle. They were more designed for skydiving or riding.

When you say riding, you mean a car? How about for flying a plane?

We mean a motorcycle or bike. There could be many uses for these goggles but when originally designed we were thinking skydiving or riding.
