The We Are Not Skin Deep series pokes fun at the modeling industry, insecurities and our carnal urges. Artist Matthew Wilcox creates his one of a kind wood art pieces using a unique technique. Each piece is first drawn out digitally by hand in the computer, and then laser burned into the wood. Because the artist uses such a high grade of heavy Baltic birch plywood, the natural wood grain highlights the look of the burnt wood. This piece comes with a routed notch for easy and flush wall hanging, so it's ready to hang right away.
