World of Warhol

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was a famed American artist, author, producer and director, and one of the leading figures in the Pop Art movement, which flourished in the '60s and '70s. His singularly distinctive style was known for its vibrantly saturated, layered, and slightly abstract flair, with subjects and themes that accentuated the relationship of pop culture and advertising. This series of canvas prints is inspired by Andy Warhol and his body of work, paying homage to his position in the art world and as a fixture of bohemian counterculture.
