The Model One is the entry level Coravin Wine Access System. This system lets you enjoy a glass of wine in the evening without spoiling the whole bottle or limiting yourself to one kind of wine. Utilizing proprietary Coravin technology and featuring a friendly and functional design, the Coravin Model One Wine System lets you pour wine effortlessly without removing the cork, so you can enjoy the rest of the bottle another day. It's even made of lightweight plastic, so it's easy to take on the go. It uses a special wine needle, designed to slide alongside the cork and into the wine gently enough that the seal won't be broken when the needle's removed. The back end of the needle inserts into the easy-to-squeeze clamp, which fits tightly around the bottleneck for a secure hold. Powered by pressurized Coravin Capsules that are filled with pure argon gas, the Model One draws the wine from the bottle without allowing oxygen inside.
