About the Designer

Rachel Gant and Andrew Deming of Yield Design Co both grew up in the Carolinas before eventually meeting in San Francisco, California. With a shared understanding of the Southern pace and a new appreciation for the San Francisco lifestyle, the duo started Yield Design Company out of a desire to design objects which introduce an element of play into daily routine. They are strong advocates of the idea that a healthy lifestyle goes hand in hand with great work. The duo has plans to expand upon the Picnic series itself as well as release a complimentary series of products that are currently in the works.
