Aglianico del Vulture

Eubea is located in the wine producing area of Vulture, Basilicata, Italy and takes its name from the ancient Greek navigators who brought the Aglianico vine into Southern Italy. Founded in 1922 by the Sasso Family, Eubea has become one of the top producers of Aglianico del Vulture in the world. The rocky hills and limestone soils of this region produce wines of remarkable depth and concentration.

With a family history of winemaking, Eugenia Sasso is leading the winery with passion. And by her stands Francesco her father, the teacher: more than fifty years as a leading winemaker personality in the Basilicata Region and mentor of the Eubea Aglianico del Vulture wine throughout the world.
