COUP Craft Collectors Edition
This unique collection of wines pays tribute to the craft culture while expressing the depth and creativity of the Coup Champagne vintage collection from champagne producer J. de Telmont. This flight of six ultra rare vintage bottles have been aged for a combined 100+ years.
Some of COUP Champagne's first collections came from the independent craft house of J. de Telmont. Founded in 1912 with the family motto of "Glory to champagne," four generations would go on to write the history of the brand through a completely hands on process that continues through to the present. Their harvest by hand ensures delicate precision. They remain committed to the art of “tiré-bouché liège," or aging on natural cork. The wine-making and aging continue to take place in foudres (large oak vats), and riddling is still done by hand. Their family proudly perpetuates their traditions with passion and an ongoing search for excellence, better Champagnes, and an expression of their history.
These vintages are still aging in their original French champagne cellars, meticulously stored untouched for the past 35 years. Any sommelier can tell you that the longer you age on the lees, the more complex aromas and finer bubbles develop.
As a ToMo Exclusive and a first of its kind service, COUP Champagne will coordinate with the winemaker to disgorge your bottles after your order is placed, ensuring the longest aging on lees of any bottle in that particular vintage year. The collector bottles are then air shipped with a brief stop at their temperature controlled warehouse before arriving at your door, resulting is a champagne with a superior aroma and flavor.

Nose of apple strudel, vanilla, cinnamon, and autumnal flower. Broad finish on the palate, rather light taking into account the maturity, but the mouthfeel is big. Long finish of ripe red apples.
Intense golden colour. The smell is straight and intense, with some spicy aromas of white pepper and liquorice. In mouth, are found dried fruits aromas (apple, quince). Lemon aromas and freshness at the end.
Pink colour almost salmon. The nose reveals strong candied fruit aromas and notes of raspberry liquor. In mouth, there are honey and spicy notes (gingerbread) turning into moka aromas. Elegant wine with a great freshness.
Made exclusive from Chardonnay grapes, this exceptional Cuvee was obtained from the best Cote des Blancs Grands Crus Villages of a one single great harvest. After a meticulous selection of the finest grapes, only the first pressing is used for the blend and aged for a minimum of 10 years in the cellars. Rich and full of delicious fruit as well as a yeasty, toasty character. Finishes with a mineral edge but overshadowed by ripe pink grapefruit and lime fruit.
Delicate notes of ripe lemon, white-fleshed fruits and brioche. Lovely volume, full body, yet also freshness and mellowness on the palate. Remarkable fullness and lengthy fruit exposure.
*Brut NV Saber Bottle*
Complex richness and elegance with lifted toasty, yeasty, brioche notes and apple and honey-touched flavours. Creamy, delightful fine mousse and bright acidity.
