Product Description
Serving up wood-fired pizzas, steaks, breads, and seafood is a surefire way to ensure you’re the backyard party MVP. The Cru Champion Oven owes its name to its champion level performance backed by heirloom quality and substantially large cooking surface. It is handmade in Portugal with an oven chamber insulated by a 1-inch ceramic blanket sandwiched between two sheets of 1mm 304 stainless steel, then encased in a 1.5mm lacquered aluminum outer shell. The robust design provides superior heat retention allowing the oven to be at 900F in about 20 minutes with the outer shell of the oven safe to the touch.
The oven opening when coupled with the large cooking surface lets you do much more than bake pizza – bake bread, roast or grill meats, seafood, vegetables, cook directly on the coals, and more. Because of the ingenious design, you can cook quickly with the intense heat necessary for pizzas and flatbreads when the oven door is open. Closing the door will enable you to slow cook roasts, poultry, artisan loaves, etc. With the Cru Champion you get to experience the true essence of wood fired cooking — slowing down and relaxing, lighting the fire and enjoying great food with the people you care about.
