This innovative design is lightweight at less than 8 pounds and optimized for quick and easy assembly. Enjoy bright, captivating flames and substantial heat output with 80% less smoke for a more enjoyable campfire experience. Burning on a fire-rated stainless steel mesh means this fire gets perfect airflow. The fire mesh is strong enough to hold up to 125 pounds of wood, charcoal, or pellets, and doesn't allow ash to fall through for convenient clean up. After your fire has been extinguished, the Pop-Up Pit will be cool to the touch within 90 seconds and collapses down to a small size so you can pack up in about 3 minutes.

FAQ

Does this one have a foldable grate of some sort?

Yes, the Pop-Up Pit can be upgraded to a portable grill with either the Tri-Fold or Quad-Fold grill grates (available directly through Fireside Outdoor).

How long after burning a fire do you have to wait to fold back up and store in carrying bag?

After your fire has been extinguished the Pop-Up Pit will be cool to the touch within 90 seconds. Because the aluminum does not hold the heat it is very quick to pack away.

All in all the pit can be broken down, cleaned, and put away in about 3 minutes.

Can this be used on a wood deck?

The Pop-Up Pit when using the heat shield is designed to stop all heat transfer to the ground underneath the fire pit. You'll still want to use something like our Ember mat to ensure that no popping embers fall out of the pit and damage the area around it!

Does this fire pit come with a portable bag?

Yes, it comes in its own ballistic nylon carrying case that features an adjustable shoulder/carrying strap.
