Mark Warren and Chris Pence

Mark Warren and Chris Pence met and became friends in high school. Growing up in Jacksonville FL both spent a good deal of their time navigating expanses of interstate staring out the windows of their mothers’ station wagons. Pink flamingos, strip malls and neon lights dominated their early impressions of the world. In 2011 Mark and Chris decided to use their skills to start a company. Their mission is to create well-designed, high quality home-wares in the USA. Haand is located in the rural piedmont of North Carolina. They see the entire process through from conception to completed product. They work to make objects that create a meaningful and lasting interaction between user and object.
