Haand's design focus is on minimal, comfortable, elegant objects for everyday use. Haand's studio philosophy and practice is focused on improving efficiency throughout the entire process of creation- from conception to completion each facet of production is examined with an eye toward streamlining the process. This leads to less waste, and creates a product that has no unnecessary frills or extraneous information. This approach is the result of intensive, ongoing research into historical models of ceramic workshop production coupled with an eye towards contemporary industrial production methods.
