Haand's "Nesting Hunter" series is inspired by the fascinating form and lives led by the small hunting mammals of the world. The Margay is a small hunting cat and is found roaming the jungles of Central and South America. The Caracal is a long-legged hunting cat that inhabits the lands of Central Asia and Africa. Smaller than a Caracal, these pictures show the Margay is nesting with the Caracal. The Nesting Hunter series is designed to work interchangeably, for example: try nesting a Margay in a Fossa, or an Oncilla in a Caracal.

About the Designer
Mark Warren and Chris Pence met and became friends in high school. Growing up in Jacksonville FL both spent a good deal of their time navigating expanses of interstate staring out the windows of their mothers’ station wagons. Pink flamingos, strip malls and neon lights dominated their early impressions of the world. In 2011 Mark and Chris decided to use their skills to start a company. Their mission is to create well-designed, high quality home-wares in the USA. Haand is located in the rural piedmont of North Carolina. They see the entire process through from conception to completed product. They work to make objects that create a meaningful and lasting interaction between user and object.
