Isabel Mondavi Wines was founded by Isabel's son, Rob Mondavi. It was inspired by her love of flavorful, food-friendly wines, and initially intended as a small project to make a few cases of wine just for her, but the bright, balanced, and attractively-packaged wines have found greater appreciation from consumers worldwide and has become a full scale operation. A true family affair, Isabel's daughter, Dina, leads the packaging and blending, Rob manages the cellar. Isabel's husband and wine industry veteran, Michael Mondavi, is the brand's biggest cheerleader and fan.

This 2016 Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon is light pink and salmon-colored, and is fresh and aromatic with enticing aromas of strawberry, cranberry and ripe pear that fill the glass. Lightweight in the mouth with waves of flavor roll across the palate, this wine offers a nice touch of acidity on palate and a long, crisp finish.

The Cabernet Sauvignon and Barbera grapes were harvested at the optimum maturity to capture the bright fruit flavors while retaining fresh acidity. It was made with the Provence style in mind, while remaining true to its California roots and Italian family heritage. It also features just a touch of Muscat for the aromas to round out the blend.
