With roots deep in the Napa Valley and France and award-winning wines known for beautiful balance, finesse and power, Boisset Collection was the perfect match. 2017 LVE Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2 Bottles
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a mix from four different vineyards, located in St Helena, Yountville and Rutherford. The riper grapes from St Helena form the backbone of the wine with fresh fruit and vibrancy. The grapes from Yountville bring out texture and savory notes while the grapes from Rutherford add to the structure and provide ageability. The Petit Verdot comes from a cool climate vineyard in Oak Knoll which adds the textural component. The grapes went through extended maceration with the wines being on the skins for 37 days. It was then pressed and aged in a mix of French oak barrels (Demptos) – 27% new – for 19 months before being bottled.

Opening with alluring aromas of dark fruit, blackberry compote and dark chocolate, our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon entices the senses. Sumptuous fruit-driven flavors with notes of cassis and caramelized oak are harmonious and balanced. Elegant and refined tannins with complex flavors make this an immensely enjoyable wine.
